By downloading, installing, or using CueDraft ("the Application") or visiting cuedraft.app ("the Website"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Application or Website.

2. Description of Service

CueDraft is a free, local-first text snippet application for Windows and Linux. It allows you to save reusable text snippets and insert them into any application on your computer. The Application runs entirely on your machine with no internet connection required.

3. Free and Open Source

CueDraft is free to use and open source. The source code is made available under an open-source license (see the repository for the specific license terms). You are free to use, study, modify, and distribute the software in accordance with that license.

4. Your Use of the Application

You agree not to use CueDraft to:

• Automate, spam, or harass others with content produced using the Application
• Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
• Infringe on the intellectual property rights of any person or entity
• Distribute malware, spyware, or other malicious code by embedding it in snippets and sharing them

You are solely responsible for the content of the snippets you create and the manner in which you use the Application.

5. Intellectual Property

The CueDraft name, logo, and original application code are the intellectual property of their respective owners and contributors. Use of the CueDraft name or branding to imply endorsement of a third-party product or service is not permitted without prior written consent.

Content you create with CueDraft — your snippets, templates, and notes — belongs entirely to you.

6. No Account Required

CueDraft does not require an account, registration, or subscription. There is no relationship between you and CueDraft beyond your use of the open-source software under its license terms.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

CueDraft is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Application will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components. Use the Application at your own risk.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, CueDraft and its contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or interruption of business, arising out of or in connection with the use or inability to use the Application, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
